National Library of Australia
The National Library of Australia collects and preserves documentary heritage of national significance and makes this material available both onsite and online. This includes rich research materials about Australian prime ministers, such as diaries, letters, notebooks, speeches, photographs, interviews and publications, documenting their official lives and lives outside government.
The Library’s collection reflects the growing and changing social, cultural and intellectual histories of Australia. It includes books, manuscripts, maps, music, oral history, pictures, websites, newspapers and printed ephemera, as well as special collections material. The Library maintains this collection for future generations, supporting learning, research and understanding of Australia’s role in the world.
